2009 BIAU 5k raceif you are looking for a race this spring....which i think you should be!
the, 'brain injury association of utah 5k' is an excellent one.
if you want to know why i care about this race look at the pictures of my little granddaughter below. she was injured a couple years ago when a television and dresser fell on her causing a traumatic brain injury. she spent 31 days in primary children's medical center, two weeks of that was spent in a coma, the next couple weeks were spent in the neuro trauma unit. this was a very scary time for our family! we were one of the lucky ones...she is now a perfect, happy, smart 5 year old. this is why i ran last year, for her and for the ones that aren't so lucky.
