finally getting around to posting last week's race

i think this is becoming an addiction:)
in fact...here is the exact text i got from the mister
while we were sitting in the car deciding if
we were really going to run this.
mister: so when do you know you are addicted? when you run in the pouring rain and snow.
me: no response:)
mister: are you still running?
me: we're at the start line right now. this might be really ugly.
mister: no. it might be really dumb....
the course was an 'out & back'
we took time for a picture at the turn around
that's what friends are for....
the water was an extra special nice touch to the day
our feet were so cold and wet
it felt like we were running on stumps
couldn't even feel our feet:)

the weather was horrific
woke up to snow turning to pouring rain
freezing temperatures.....
decided the only way we were going to do this
was to run the entire race
together:)
this was one of those defining races.
we had to dig deep....
find that little piece inside that belongs to no one else.
